FVSU 1895 Society

Since 1895, Fort Valley State University has empowered people to use education as a pathway to maximize their potential through invention, intellectual fulfillment, civic leadership, and meaningful careers. The Office of Alumni Relations introduced the establishment of The Fort Valley State University 1895 Society. It’s a way of honoring our founders and perpetuating a meaningful lifetime connection to our dear ole alma mater, Fort Valley State. The FVSU 1895 Society is established to celebrate the legacy of these pioneers. It is an opportunity for the graduating class, both undergraduate and graduate students, to express their generosity and foresight for next generation scholarships for students seeking an education that will benefit them for the rest of their life. In doing so, their names will be listed and printed as members of The FVSU 1895 Society and they will receive a blue and gold cord twist which can be worn as part of their academic attire during 2018 fall commencement.A minimum donation of $18.95 is required to be a member. In order for your name to be listed and printed in the 2018 fall commencement program as a member of The FVSU 1895 Society, your donation must be received by Friday, November 16, 2018.
