The Fort Valley State University National Alumni Association, Inc Annual Scholarship/Homecoming Golf Tournament presents “Cigars on the Par” on Friday, October 18, 2019 at the International City Golf Club, 72 Play Golf Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088. Registration starts at 8:00 am and Tee-off at 8:30 am. This is a 4 man team at $400 per team at $100 per player. The registration includes a golf cart, lunch and snack bags and 2 mulligans. There will be a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place team trophies. There will also be door prizes raffled off, longest drives, closest to the pin and one lucky winner will win a new car by Hole-in-One. ABOUT FVSU FAVOR FUND: FAVOR Scholarship Fund Criterion is for first generation college student (father, mother, no sibling college graduate), demonstrated record of community service with 10 hours of service (letter from non-profit where you volunteered, proof submitted by end of semester), minimum grade point average (GPA) 2.5 after first year of college (two semester minimum at Fort Valley State University rising sophomore), scholarship recipient must have a financial need, three (3) letters of reference from current instructors, write an essay on, “How I Will Give Back”, and at least (1) male and (1) female per year.
