FVSU NAA, Inc. Dekalb Alumni Chapter 2021 Virtual Scholarship Jazz Brunch
The Fort Valley State University National Alumni Association, Inc. Dekalb Alumni Chapter is having their 2021 Virtual Scholarship Jazz Brunch. The theme for this event is “Honoring the Past, Treasuring the Present and Shaping the Future”. The event is Saturday, August 21, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. The ticket cost/donation for this event is $50 or check payable to: “FVSU Dekalb Alumni”, 120 Gaelic Way, Tyrone, GA 30290. Please include your email address in the check memo. The event will feature Guest Speakers, Jeremy J. Crane, FVSU Alumnus Business Professional and Dr. Marnita Lemons, FVSU Alumna Dentist & Entrepreneur. Musical entertainment provided by Robin Latimore, FVSU Alumna Jazz Vocalist and Shelly Williams, Jazz Vocalist. There will be door prizes and a grand prize drawing.
All proceeds will benefit FVSU Scholarships.
FVSU NAA, Inc. West Georgia Alumni Chapter 1st Annual Car/Bike, Race, Step Show
The Fort Valley State University National Alumni Association, Inc. West Georgia Alumni Chapter is having their 1st Annual Car/Bike, Race and Step Show at the Troup County Speedway, 123 Heard Road in West Point, Georgia 30240. The event will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2025 (if inclement weather, date changes to August 21, 2025). The gates will open at 1 p.m. The Step Show will begin at 5 p.m. and the Race will begin at 6 p.m. Cost for gate entry is $20 per person (ages 12+), $5 per person (ages 5 to 11), FREE (ages 4 and under). Step Show teams are $75; car (race or show) is $20; vendors are $150 per vendor. There will be prizes awarded. Sponsorship levels are available. Any donations are appreciated and proceeds fund FVSU scholarship funding for students.
